Burlesque-Jazz
This glamorous and saucy burlesque jazz class blends traditional jazz dance technique with the cinema style burlesque that celebrated the glitz of divas like Gypsy Rose Lee, Lydia Thomas and Josephine Baker. Join us for an hour of feel good fun! The class begins with stretching to the classic Jazz Age music, blending into moves practiced across the floor, and finishing with a burlesque combination that combines the timeless techniques with more current and popular music tunes.
What to wear:
Come dressed to move! Clothing such as tank tops, sports bras, shorts, leggings, or yoga type pants are good. We want you to be confident and comfortable. Barefoot for the first half , A pair of sexy heels you can dance in (no higher than a 2″ heel) for choreography (optional). Be as casual or have as much fun as you like! The sessions clothing/props will be announced on the first day of class.
